Wow! Where do I start? Elder Murset randomly told us we would have like 5 minutes to check our email and email our family. I said, "Elder Murset, what do I say in 5 minutes? How can I condense everything!?" Well, I will try. I love everything about Nauvoo! There is a tangible spirit here. My Sisters are incredible, and the Elders too. My companion is Sister Pettit. She is a sweetheart and all of the sisters and I get along so well. My mission president, President Ludwig and his wife are amazing people! As well as Elder and Sister Camp and Elder and Sister Murset, they are so funny and do so much for us. Basically our day is: we wake up, a few of the sisters and I go running together, we study, eat breakfast, get ready and are at the visitors center by 8:00 to start rehearsing. They feed us lunch there, we rehearse some more, we get a quick dinner break back at our home, we come back and rehearse some more and go home at 9:30, fall on our pillows and act dead! It's great! I think this morning we started to feel that tired feeling and didn't want to get out of bed. We sang for like the first 4 days straight. Pray for our voices! I have to be so incredibly careful not to get nodules again. All of the girls have beautiful soprano voices, I just fake it on the high notes. hehe.
I have to take this next paragraph to talk about our more than adorable little home. We live in the old Nauvoo City Jail. I know sweet huh? The stair case is about the steepest thing you can ever imagine walking up or tripping down. hehe. We have 10 sisters in one house, and 2 bathrooms. Yep, we are so cool. We also have this awesome like tornado shelter basement with one of those cool door things outside from 'Wizard of Oz'. Well, Elder Murset says I need to get off haha. Um, I love you all so much! Mom, thanks for telling me all about the Chipana family, tell them how much I love them and how great it is they got baptized!
The back of our home with our van!
Oh yeah, my P day is Thursday morning. I perform in 'Anna Amanda' on Mon, Wed, Fri (both the 10:30 & 12:30 shows) and 'High Hopes and Riverboats' on Mon, Wed, Fri at 4:30 and Tue, Thurs, Sat at 2:30 for scheduling purposes when you come out. More to come on performance schedules. Love you. The church is true! Hurrah for Israel!
Love, Sister Paulsen
